you do not suck, people start over with a lvl 1 char manytimes, they can still play battle mode or even play the game, this game takes time to reach lvl 200, but the only thing lvl 200 ofers you is stats, the rest is up to you.
He's right, you'll find items (especially mags) do more for you than levels. Use the quest Towards The Future (online only) to level back up. All it is, is based in episode one, you start a room or two just before the boss in - forest, caves, mines and ruins. So the speed and boss exp is fantastic.
ok I think I've decided to level up normally instead of using the cheat but it kinda depends on if I find a guy that can use ryuker anywhere.
