I downloaded Blue Burst the other day, but when I try to start the game or download a patch, I get the same message telling me that the Patch Connection failed. I have attached an image of the message below.
Is it just that there is maintenance (which I can't see mentioned on the original site) or is there something else I must do? I've already excluded the Blue Burst folder from my firewall settings, just in case it was that.
Thanks in advance.
no maintenance :x next is on the 14th i think.
do you use BT talktalk broadbandy thing? we do here, and its been horrible for a few days, i cant get on due to the same error. i also cant get on to hotmail, MSN messenger and most sites dont load properly. in fact, ragol is like the only site which is unaffected
either way tonnes of talktalk users have been complaining and nothings been done yet.
if not, i'm unsure, wouldve thought the firewall wouldve fixed it, try disabling the firewall? :S
All other sites I can access fine, including the PSOBB one, so I'll have another look at my firewall.
I'm using the internet provided by my university, so I've no idea exactly what it is. I shall keep trying, but if anyone knows a definite answer then I'd be glad to hear it!
Gah! University networks! Them things don't tend to like online games too much. XD
I had to fight with mine to get PSO GC working, so try messing around and seeing if that fixes it.
I got this at one point forge. Make SURE if you use a router that its' MTU is set on or below 420 or it will not allow a connection. It's just a security thing - usually.
How do I know if I have a router, and how do I change the MTU?
I find decreasing my routers MTUs slow down my connection significantly... and actually... I could only access PSO properly when my MTUs were above 1000.

The BB official site suggests that if the connection is not working to increase it to 1420...
Erg that was a typo on my part. 1420 it is.

Thanks Anti, but how do I change the MTU?
