I downloaded the demo of this earlier today (available from steam or www.introversion.co.uk) and it's rather good. I intend to order the full thing tomorrow, although one thing is stopping me - it's EXTREMELY SCARY.

Yeah I've played this too. It's fun to play, but it is lil' bit morbid. Seeing the message come on screen like "London Hit: 6 Million Dead". Scary stuff!

I've only played a quick match against the AI players though, havent tried multiplayer yet - might be fun.

Full game only costs a tenner, does it not? Value for the monies!

The genre it fits into best is probably real-time strategy, but it is really rather original and unique.

It is easy to find at http://www.introversion.co.uk/defcon/dow...index.html but can also be downloaded via steam (the system used for half life and counter-strike, if you're familiar with it.
