  Modern age RTS
Posted by: Anti Hacker - 08-02-2006, 09:53 PM - Forum: Gaming - No Replies

I think the enhanced physics and object detail (plus the 3D cameras, particle effects and animations) have made new age RTS games, unlike many other game genres, successful in leaping to the next generation of gameplay. What do you all think?

CNC Generals Zero Hour/New Tech:

^ Paladin Mk.II tanks obliterate an enemy base with accompanying gun/battle drones. Note the physics of the rubble and the nice particle effects that make play so much more... rewarding.

Please post any screenshots you have of new or old RTS games and comment on them if you can
