The past few weeks have been really hard, knowing that my dog is getting close to the end of his career, today my friend has learned she has breast cancer (i've known her for well over 12 years so we're real close) and i'm currently having to take some tests because my doctor suspects that i may be infertile, so i wanna let you guys'n'gals know that if i don't post on here often you now know why.

I started PSO back on the DC and i am still playing the GameCube version.

However, my girlfriend started to play recently on a 2nd Memory Card and i was wondering if it is possible to play together offline using 2 different memory cards. Since she is in germany and i am in rome for 6 more months i can't go home and try it out. She doesn't know well, so i am better off asking you guys.

We want to play online together once i am back (2 TV's, 2 GCN, 2 ASCII...) but would also be nice to play it offline with her.

Ah yeah, this is the GameCube Version Phantasy Star Online Episode I & II i am talking about.

So Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix (SSF2THDR) is right around the corner, and I felt I needed to pay my respects to the best fighting game character ever created. Akuma is pure, unbridled awesomeness.

1. His name means "Devil", and all of his moves have insanely epic translations.
Such as Destructive Strong Surge Fist, Air-Cutting Surge Fist, and Instant Hell Murder/Raging Demon.

2. He isn't just a mindless brute; he actually has a strict code of honour that he rigidly adheres to.
He won't fight weaklings, and he only accepts challenges from those he deems worthy. For instance, he stopped his fight with Gen when he realized Gen had cancer, and he spared Ken because he believed he could improve greatly.

3. He is the strongest Shotokan character.
You could say that he's a mix between Ryu and Ken, but he's way more. If you go into a battle as Akuma with a Ryu or Ken mentality, you're likely to lose. He has his own strategies which are hard to describe, but I usually get by (if I'm playing for fun) with a Hyakkishu+HK into a crouching HP+LP Shoryuken. It completely destroys noobs, but not every iteration of him possesses the Hyakkishu jump-in so I gotta mix it up. He has awful defence in most games though, so it's best to go all out aggressive. (Also, it's possible that Gouken in SFIV is stronger, but I dunno yet.)

4. He looks menacing as hell.
Which is unfortunate, as he isn't really a villain, but it suits his style so well that it's not a problem. It was revealed in Street Fighter: Generations that he took his trademark prayer beads from his master Goutetsu after defeating him in a fierce battle (IIRC, I haven't watched it in ages). And his dark red hair, coupled with the black gi make for a vicious looking contender.

5. Shin Akuma.
You WILL die the first time you fight him in CvS2. You have no idea what you're up against. He's almost twice as fast, twice as strong, and has some ridiculously cheap moves. But it fits with the character, as Shin Akuma is just Akuma using his full power. He is NOT being controlled by the Satsui No Hadou; rather he has mastered it himself. Normal Akuma is him holding back so he doesn't accidentally kill his opponent too quick, sort of like the way Oro only fights with one arm to prevent a similar mishap.

6. He can destroy islands/landmasses, and cut through steel.
As often demonstrated in his end sequences, Akuma possesses far greater power than he fights with (mentioned in the previous point too). In his SFIII ending he literally cuts through a submarine with a single stroke, instantly obliterating it. He also destroyed an island in something (I can't remember whether it was a game ending or an anime).

7. Akuma WILL annihilate you in SFIV.
.....Provided you play on the highest difficulty, that is. As I plan to...

In closing, Bison is a p***y compared to Akuma. Deal with it, Bison fanboys.

Well, as you know or not know the PSO Ver.2 for dreamcast can connect at schthack but only with the PAL (european version) of the game, the US and JP versions have a HL check(hunters lincense) wich no one knows how to remove it.

With this, PAL PSO Ver.2 became a worthy game to buy, i have once received a proposal to sell my game for 90$, considered it costed me less then 20€ then it would be a nice deal.

At schthack the member aleronives is trying to make a bootable pal pso, you may wonder that there is a cd-r version of phantasy star online, but the person that did it used a US version of the game, so for offline gameplay it's fine but online is not alowed.
So making a cd-r version of the PAL PSO Ver.2 would be great for the community, aleronives is testing his ideas in order to make the game bugless and fastload.

The old US cd-r version had a few bugs, namely in quests, it would usually cause BSOD or FSOD when loading npcs, it would happen only in some quest and there were ways to avoid it, so no big deal here.
Then there was another bug, if you created a game online and someone joined you would FSOD and in this case there wasn't any trick to overcome this problem.

But, to compete with ives, there is mag94, a person that at the same time as ives started to make also a pal pso ver.2 game, each person uses different strategies to make the game but currently only 1 version is avaiable, that version is mag94's game.

Some people said this game was impossible to crack, we prove them wrong!
It was one of the hardest Dreamcast games to crack though.
