  Anyone to play Online with?
Posted by: Sykx - 21-05-2008, 03:08 AM - Forum: Lobby - Replies (13)

does anyone play the original 1&2 online anymore? is it even possible? i bought this game a long time ago and only played with with 3 other friends but when they stopped playing i pretty much stopped. now i've started playing on my own and i have to admit it is fun and addicting but i really enjoyed the teamwork. so i was wondering if anyone plays the gamecube original version online anymore because i don't feel like paying for something when there's no one there that'd be friendly/online. anyway, if a few someones still play online i'd be very tempted to start.

I have heard about something that was called "piping" and I wondered if it works on every version of PSO.

  Map viewer
Posted by: K_I_R_E_E_K - 15-05-2008, 10:44 PM - Forum: Lobby - Replies (10)

well schthack team had a map viewer, he released the game and source and now ppl have upgraded it with speed improvement, a few bugs are now fixed and it can virtually open any map in pso bb.
there are no animations, ilumination or transparency in some maps (pionner 2 are the ones you see that)
with no animation you can't see water move or the lava, you only see a static image
no ilumination means some images are very dark like dark falz 3rd from ground, don't expect to see much really.
no transparency means the images have a black in the transparency, it's noticible on pionner 2 maps.
images on your computer may be different since this depends mainly on the graphic board.
full info and download links in this post.

(don't download the one in the 1st post, after a few pages there should be a decent one with almost no problems)
how to use:
the last one avaiable, open the map in scene folder in pso bb, then open a texture pack or xvm file (i recomend opening the right xvm or else the textures will be from another level/area)
use "Q","A" keys and mouse to move.

heres some screens.

  Help! New frame needed!
Posted by: Gimph - 10-05-2008, 04:25 PM - Forum: Items - Replies (3)

Hey, I need a new frame/armor. I'm a blueful, and I have access to every level in the game in all difficulties, so that's not a problem. I just can't seem to find anything. I use FLOWEN'S FRAME, which is a noob frame. Any ideas?

Just out of curiosity, does anyone here play Kingdom Of Loathing? It's a hilarious and useless online game. I just started a few months ago, and I love it. It's free, so check it out at Kingdomofloathing.com

  Castlevania Handhelds
Posted by: Gimph - 08-05-2008, 10:39 PM - Forum: Gaming - Replies (8)

Castlevania is a great series with some amazing handheld games, of which, I am a huge fan! I've beaten a ton of them (Castlevania Circle of the Moon, Castlevania Aria of Sorrow, Castlevania Harmony of Dissonance, or White Night Concerto, Castlevania Dawn of Sorrow, Castlevania Portrait of Ruin, and a few others I can't think of as well as the two N64 titles, Castlevania 64 and Castlevania Legacy of Darkness) and I thoroughly enjoyed every second of it, besides crazy hard boss fights of course. No one likes those. CASTLEVANIA ROCKS!

  N64

I think that it's unfair that no one acknowledges the N64. I still play mine, and some of my favorite games are on there! I still love Super Mario 64, Castlevania 64, Castlevania Legacy of Darkness, Donkey Kong 64, Banjo Kazooie, Banjo Tooie, Diddy Kong Racing, and the original Super Smash Bros. game. They're all great games that deserve much more credit than they're given. They were some of the very first 3D games, and they're one of a kind gaming experiences! N64 RULES!!
