The reason for closing ultimately falls on two core reasons:

1. PSOBB is not making any money, in fact Phantasy Star Universe is the only reason it has been going as long as it has. Even with the lack of updates (no development, localization, or management costs), the server and bandwidth costs exceed the amount of money generated by paying subscribers.

2. Persistent billing issues and server timeouts (error 906, etc) cannot be resolved by our billing server team. We've been working on them for months and they simply cannot be resolved, I would go into more detail, but the end result will always be the same.

As a company offering a subscription-based service, we cannot charge people for a broken service, and we can't offer a free service without offsetting the cost. you're going to save somebody in the middle of a hurricane. there is only enough room to fit two passengers. who do you save?
you're best friend who saved your life?
an old lady who is about to die unless you get her to the hosptial?
or the woman/man of your dreams?

hey ragol i have not posted on this forum in a wile but i would really like some advice.
i recently started some new charaters with some of my friends and we are playing multi mode and i wold like to go on to hard mode after clearing an episode. but here is my problem you don't unlock ruins in multi mode when you clear mines you have to get there in single player, but if i were to do that there would suddenly be a huge ap in levles and i want to keep every one within 4 levels of eachother.
so any ideas.
oh yeah
here are the levels, classes and controller placement we play with
player one, me-FOmar lvl 12 ID purplenum
player two, friend 1- RAcast lvl 12 ID oran
player three, friend 2 - FOnewm lvl 13 ID viridia
player four, friend 3 - HUcast lvl 9 ID greenill
player four(sub), friend 4 - HUmar lvl 5 ID yellowboze
all of them are pretty much complete new bee's and friend 3 likes to run off on his own so we have a substitute who is little smarter even if he is not in the level range i want.
