PSO2 Summer update - dnd - 26-07-2012
Well, pso2s updates for this month are awesome! i'll do a short version till i'm at home (3ds typing sucks).
New costumes! bikinis for the girls, swimming trunks for guys. rubber ring accessorys aswell.
New weapons! one being a giant "space tuna" - more to be announced soon.
New field "the floating continent" with more drops and pso goodness.
New enemys! The 'Crystal ice dragon' found as a boss in the new field. a forest version of the tundra boss is also coming. In addition, summer rare rappys will make an appearance dropping summer only items (who'd of thought?)
i'll get more info out when i can.

They have to update it often, at the moment it has 5 areas - also consider its being run by sega of Japan and they actually care about people lol.
This patch is also expected to be deployed during normal maintenance on wednesday (3am-11am gmt iirc) which is also my birthday, yay \o/
Fang bantha, the native version of the snow bantha will appear in the forest as an emergency quest (much the dark ragne in the city versions) after you defeat him once, he can appear in any forest quest as a emergency code:duel.
bikinis already? the weather is more then warm enough ^^. These (with the costumes for the males and accessorys for both) are replacing the wedding scratch cards on august 1st
Summer themed lobby will also be released on that date, with the summer rappy. The rappys only rare drop thats been confirmed is the space tuna sword.
Two more updates are planned for august, one on the 8th and the other later on, the new field + boss are out on the 8th, with hopefully a level cap increase and something nasty at the end of august.
Thoughts? I just hope the eu release has all this unlocked on day one (obviously not the summer stuff) otherwise meh to playing it over the jp one tbh.

The 3rd update is expected to be revealed around the 20th, the final part of the crystal dragon update - until then however, ill be levelling up and trying to unlock mines x.x

The Japanese are big on bikini's? Hmmm, me thinks I should get myself over there!
Also, these updates sound awesome. I can only hope SEGA of Europe update PSO2 as much as SEGA of Japan seem to be updating it, or that everyone just leaves the entire game (Except for the language translating, of course) in the hands of SOJ!
