Mad Cow Disease - Ton - 24-12-2003 I have no clue, but i think it kills them or something like that, the person eating it. Mad Cow Disease - Proj3ct_Zer0 - 25-12-2003 We had a huge outbreak of CJD (Mad Cow Disease) in the UK a couple of years back. I was off eating meat for about 5 months. What it is, is a disease which Cows are infected with. When we eat the beef from a cow that has been infected, the disease is passed on and starts to eat away at our brain cells. It can also have a period of time, from which it stays in our body not causing any damage. So we could find out that we have CJD about 10 years later . Anyway thats near enough all I know on the subject.
