To unlock Ruins, you need to talk to the three pillars (tree-looking things) right? I know where it is in Forest, but where is it in Mines and Caves?
I can easily beat Vol Opt, but I cant unlock Ruins.
I could appreciate any help!

the pillar in caves is in caves 2 just search through the rooms and you'll find it, the pillar in mines is in mines 2 just search through the rooms and you'll find it

Each pillar is always in the 2nd area of that specific level, be it Forest, Caves, or Mines. Just search each and every room and I guarantee you will find each one with relative ease.

I just went to Forest 2, and tried to 'talk' to the pillar. However, it didn't work...
The day before, I had went to my friend's house, who had already unlocked that and the CAVES pillar. Would that have an effect on it?

Hmm....all I know is that if you've previously hit a pillar in the same difficulty and level, you cannot do it again. And it need not be in a particular order..such as Forest --> Caves --> Mines --> Proceed to Ruins.

So that means I won't have to activate the pillars if they have already been activated by a friend and we played in multi-player (beat vol opt and went to ruins) right?

In multi player, whoever is hosting has there single player levels, whether your on it or not. And just so you know, you can't activate pillars in Multi, I think.

No I do not believe that you can even activate pillars in multiplayer, so you need not worry about that. But I cannot remember for sure.

nope cannot actiate pillers in multi. Sometimes the cavesd in on the way to the caves 3 teleporter and sometimes you have to pipe to it. the mines is usally near the boss warp or in the beginning

Yes, I know you can't activate them in multi.
However, when we played, he said he had already activated them by himself, so we needn't worry about them. When we beat Vol Opt, Ruins was unlocked...
When I went to Forest 2, I couldn't activate the pillar... :ponder: :puzzled:
