If you own the standard PlayStation2 Console, you'll need to find a Network Adapter for your console... and your only bet for that is eBay, and you'll be lucky there! If however you own one of the Slimline PlayStation2's, then it's Network Ready, so you don't need anything!

Optional are PS2 Keyboards, which Datel have also brought out alike they've done for the Gamecube. If you want to chat online, you'll need one!

When will Datel release one for PS2 ? And can I use the Ethernet cable wire from my DC to connect to Online ?

EDIT: Besides eBay >_>

They released it ages ago. I remember seeing them in the shops when i bought my Gamecube Dial-Up modem!

And, yes, you'll use a Ethernet cable (LAN Cable)

This is my first post on the forums; I am much more of a lurker than an active participant, in general.

Nonetheless, I wanted to express my appreciation of the news articles that the staff has contributed regarding Phantasy Star Universe. I've been playing PSO since it appeared on the Dreamcast. As you might imagine, I am intensely curious about the 'new addition' to the series. I have found that Ragol.co.uk is the best place to find the answers to most of the questions that I've wondered about regarding this upcoming title. To Lee-yoshi (as well as any other staff members who may contribute to these fine news updates) : Great job, and keep up the excellent work!

i'm not sure if this was posted before or not but i've been wondering if they are still going to have mags in PSU as they did in PSO

Phantasy Star Universe - Everything we know in all the universe! - Poo Fly - 23-03-2006

they will have partner machinery instead, which seem like mags, where they will evolce and change, but i think you can buy stuff (parts?) for them and only take them with you when they're strong enough, methinks...

Phantasy Star Universe - Everything we know in all the universe! - Lee-yoshi - 23-03-2006

Ah wow, did i forget to put stuff about the P. Machinery in the article?! God dam! I'll add something in later, but it's basically as Poo Fly said, MAGs are PSO's Partner Machinery for Universe. They are customisable in terms of colour and appearance, and the machinery can also turn into little androids of such which can then also run alongside you and fight alongside you!

Late yesterday, Clumsyorchid announced on the psobb.com forums that October 24th has been confirmed to be the release date for the US version of Phantasy Star Universe. He also announced the opening of the official English website. It is currently unknown if all three versions of Phantasy Star Universe - Playstation 2, PC, and XBox 360 - will be released on that date

That's so cool! I'm gonna be so happy that day, I swear!
today, I went into the game store, and they had a display case for PSU on the shelf, so I piced it up and hugged it! it felt so good, you should try it if you ever see a PSU display case. if there's ever an ad, hug the TV!
but anyway, the news is great!
