Personally my main character is still on Devil/Battle, 20% boost.
with ranged weapons the godbattle is perfect, but with blades, sometimes before you can do the 3rd atack you will get hit (daggers are a good choice)

i like mech-guns cause of the multiple hits...but on ult they're not
very reliable. enemies come too fast and accuracy sux... however i do love me a good mech gun...closest thing to a machine gun!

Depends on which character you're using. A Hunter would need a good hit%, a Ranger would need a lot more power behind them. A Force is just funny.

A Force is just funny.my m&a60 vise+9 has 50%native and still i can't do a good damage, besides i miss alot, this is my best mech but i can't compare with my red weapons(especialy the red handgun)

My HUmar always seems to hit on ULT...
I uses:
Demolition Comet + 25
Inferno Bazooka + 9
I can kill the ULTIMATE go/giga/booma's (can't remeber their names) in one combo... (6 hits)...
Hunters don't seem to need a high hit%... although i found some the M&A60 vise with plus 35%... but everything else was 0%

on dark falz (vhard) if i use shifta i can kill him with 2 combos in 1 phase and 1,5 combos in another phase , the last phase i use the mech for the first combo an then i use my red handgun (range).
on ultimate only with my red handguns i pass the game fast, either the criature is close or far away, i kill it in a snap (ultimate bartle-3/4hits)
in ultimate ruins i enter the room full with merlans and stuff and i can kill them all without leaving the room, withoutlosing hp, without moving much.
use the god batlle on guns and you will suceed in many situations, simply because in the same time you will do more damage( faster shots, more damage in less time)

I use a Red Handgun and, despite being a Hunter, it has to be my favourite weapon. I've only ever found one, but it was a god of a thing to find.
25% A.beast
30% Dark
25% Hit
I never miss, it slaughters Ob Lillies without fuss, and it's brilliant backup in the Ruins. They're the only episode 1 locations.
It's perfect for Temple, but terrible for Spaceship. Seabed however, exceptional. It was exactly what I needed to compliment what I already have.
For earlier characters I have a Custom Ray ver.00 with:
55% Native
40% Mines
35% Dark
Obviously this is not the best weapon, but for a Ranger, they only need 110 ATA.

depending on the zone i do i use diferent handguns
40/0/0/45/0
0/40/0/0/0
0/0/40/0/0
no other weapon that i have can have a better relacionsship beetween damage/time
and guess what, i'm a humar and in normal caves to vhard ruins i've used only mechs, on ultimate i used a double saber of some sort, but when i found the red handgun.....red handgun all the way

It would have been considerably smarter for you to make a Ranger. Hopefully you still have three character slots.
