If you play fairly, act fairly, people will not bring things into question. people must honestly believe that although there are many cheaters that raise themselves to level 200 for the fun of it, it is not impossible to do it without an Action Replay!
You can tell by the items they use and the way they use them. Plus it's not just about the play of the game, it's also about the meeting of other people! Not everythings a competition! lol
There arent THAT many people who actually cheat to level 200, ive honestly seen a reduction if no1 else has which i think is pretty dam good, i've seen very few 200's around. I've also been online quite a bit surprisingly since getting my HL back a week ago besides the fact i said i wudnt!
Anyways the lesson 2 learn from this post is that even so if you do get to level 199, what do you intend to do with those charactesr hmmm? Leave them to rot so they dont level to 200 and become automatically a 'waste'? Or level them to 200 and play some more with those who do believe?

yoshi, youre obviously giving the people who play online too much credit, they accuse you before you even step foot out of the guild, ive seen it (and ive done it if given good reason but most people arent as decent as me and just assume immediately). You must not play to much in the US ships, there are still plenty of 200s running around 99% of which are illegit. You could only be to 200 if youre like Kefka or Orphen and they are obviously legit. It's true a lot can be determined by a how a character carries themselves, thats how i can easily spot the cheaters ( i often beat them in battle mode because they never learned how to fight
) but most of the time, people will look at me and say im illegit and im not even 200 yet! I wouldnt ever be accepted as a legit even though i am and that takes away from the experience. You say some of the fun is meeting people right, making new friends? Well ill never be able to do that because everyone will accuse me of cheating, that will make my gaming experience miserable. As for what i would do with them at 199, the same thing i do with them now, CHALLENGE MODE BABY!!! lol had to say that.

Reading that gave me one of those things... you know, a headache with pictures... and idea, thats it.
Anyway, if people think you cheated to level 200 then you can beat them in Battle mode (one where you're put on the same level) to show them that you are good at the game.

They would certainly beat me as I have no desire to play BA mode anymore between now and hitting 200 with my HUmar in a few years

its definitely possible Orphen, as someone who has been around in battle mode i can safely say its a decent chance that an ARed 200 would be on my level of BAing. OH and faulkie, i could beat them for my own satisfaction but they dont care if i beat them, and theyll still think im a cheater. Also it is possible to use AR codes in battle mode...ive had it done to me more than once and its sad.

i joined 1 of those once 4 the cheats. well the help neway. i was a cheater back when i had my Ramar :'( i feel so cheap now. but i was a newbie and didnt realize it was wrong. plus i wanted 2 b as strong as my friend
just thought i wud tell u. i aint gonna pretend it neva happened. lol just thought u wud like 2 know.
