Hm, I'm rather fond of Varistas, actually, but mainly because they were the first rare I could equip (I had a couple slicers and a pair of Grass Assassin Arms at that point, but couldn't use any of them). I used 16 grinders on that Varista... then I gave it to my HUcast. But I must've used that for a couple of weeks at least... I found it in Hard Ruins and it was only after I got my Supressed Gun and Red Handgun that I finally put it away.
Anyway... I tried for a God Hand today, but I forgot to kill all the Forest 2 enemies, and Oswald gave me a Storm Cutter. Argh... I thought the blue mineral didn't appear if you didn't kill the forest enemies. I would have preferred that; at least then I'd have known something went wrong. :ermm:

My first special was M&A60Vise as soon as I did hard mode by my self the first item I found in hard forest was varista

That sucks NetNomad. =/ And Varistas aren't crap, they're just not the best of the best either. Good for lower levels in my opinion.

i think varistas are quite good without one i never would have got my first char to ultimate.

Yes, Varistas are very good. It just gets annoying after a while when you get one at least every run you do, and none of them have any percents at all.

Yep. The same thing happened to me MANY times before I got my Suppressed Gun. Varista's are the weakest special weapon, but they are pretty good. Especially for lower levels. (ie: 30-80)

Yea, they help blow through Spaceship and Mines. Now I want a suppresed gun to. 1/74 from spaceship Garnaz. How many Garnaz's are there in the spaceship?
