To be fair, Nintendo usually aren't that creative.
Nintendo Entertainment Syestem - It's a system that entertains you, and it's by Nintendo.
Gameboy - You've lost me. Tongue
Super NES - I's like the NES, but better, some might say super. Tongue
Gameboy Colour - It's a gameboy - in colour!
Nintendo 64 - It's a Nintendo, with 64 bits!
Gameboy Advance - It's a more advanced version on a gameboy.
Gamecube - It's a cube (not really though,FALSE ADVERSTING!! Tongue) and it plays games.
Nintendo DS - I guess that was a pretty cool name. I does have Dual Screens.

I'm not bashing Nintendo or anything, and their names are still better than the consoles that just stick numbers (or letters - PSP Tongue) on the end. Revolution is cool though. Wink

I still like the sega names best - even though I only ever owned DreamCast. Tongue

Well consoles are gona die soon anyway. Handheld's are catching up to console graphics VERY quickly. Soon that is all we will be playing Big Grin

Also if Nintendo dies the Vidio Game industry dies. No other company is willing to take the risks necicary to go into the future. All the things we have are thanks to nintendo. They take the risks and find new ways to make games fun while other companys just go "Hmm thats a good idea lets add it to ours"

Heh... and thats why Nintendo is waiting until last to reveal all their console specs ^_^
