Yeah, it pretty much does. Anything non-equipped and not deposited in the bank will be lost. Meseta held will be lost to. But if you get corrupted (FSODX) then all your characters go, unless they're spread across memory cards.

Yes, it does. FSODX occurs only in the double save when another player initiates an FSOD in between the two saves. To avoid this, make your own games online so you are the first in (this way there's no one in the game to FSODX you in the double save as you enter).

It doesn't block/prevent FSODX it just makes sure you never put yourself in a situation where you can be FSODX'd. If you follow that rule, you won't get FSODX (unless a hacker uses lobby reload to initiate the double save in the lobby and then uses FSOD).

Yup. Not often though. I don't think anyone who knows lobby reload FSODX still plays. And if they do, it might have been patched.
