No Offline Multiplayer - Mirinee - 25-10-2006 So since PSO was never meant to be offline multiplayer anyway, and it was never planned for PSU either anyway, let's just not bother, because no one except Mirinee really cares anyway. Hmph.pink Wrote:As for a Crystal Chronicles style of play... that'd get rid of have the fun of offline multiplayer, being able to split up and take all the sections of the level, then combine for the hard parts... also... imagine how annoying it'd make bosses!Hehe. That reminds me of the love quest in PSO. I loved that quest! It was the best excuse to get really close t--... ahem. Never mind. Edit: No one except Mirinee and nomercy and Lee-yoshi and maybe others too, cool! ^^ No Offline Multiplayer - nomercy - 25-10-2006 Mirinee Wrote: Hey, I was on your side. I want a *Good* offline multiplayer system on it. No Offline Multiplayer - RebelMaren - 25-10-2006 A Expansion pack has been announced for the PS2 and X360 versions, I summe that'll help make up the disc size difference. No Offline Multiplayer - Mirinee - 25-10-2006 Okee. Stay hopeful and wish for an update pack someday, I guess. ![]() Edit: I hope they won't make us pay for the expansions. In other words, we shell out more than once to get the full game. No Offline Multiplayer - pink - 25-10-2006 This whole thing is turning into a "How much money can Sega steal from people before they realize they're losing more than they're gaining?" event. Good old Sega and their great customer service... [!] No Offline Multiplayer - Kevwin - 25-10-2006 It would seem very unfair to give less on the consoles than the PC version and then charge for expansions. PS2 have dvd readers, and yes most PS2 disks are around 4 gig but DVD's are DVD's surely the ps2 and x360 would be able to handle dual layer dvd disks. Its plausible I guess. As for Offline Multiplayer, Its only been once in a blue moon my friends and I have managed to get together for PSO multi so im not too peeved. Most of my friends IRL though are hardcore ninty, so unless psu eventually gets released for the Wii then we will never be able to hook up like we used to lol. That said, I can't wait to get my greasy mitts on PSU although from what im reading maybe ill try and zoop up my laptop and get the pc version as opposed to ps2 The Kevwin No Offline Multiplayer - Kitsadoodles - 25-10-2006 Complaining obviously isn't gonna get me anywhere except to a super fun spot, but I really wish there was an offline multiplayer! Part of my fun in PSO was always knowing that I could get my brother to play with me when no one was online (which won't happen for a WHIIIIIIILE in PSU) and just because he's a good pal and player, but now my character can never play with his...its very sad, indeed! Oh well, at least we can chat and play at the same time, being as we're getting it for different systems. No Offline Multiplayer - Mirinee - 25-10-2006 I hope one of you is on PC and the other on PS2, Kitsadoodles, or else you won't be able to play together. Apparently the PC/PS2 US and EU will be able to play together, so maybe we'll meet someday. The Xbox360 people are separate. Maybe I should get a PS2 too then for my sister to play on... Doubt it though. Too poor to shell out for a new PS2/extra copy/extra Hunter's license. :S |
