The game is way too easy offline. Sega should've put a bit more effort into offline play since there's not really much to do.

Offline is little more than a basic story, an over-long tutorial and a preview of some of the nice little rares we will see online, sadly :|

True, true. But its also totally fun, with cool characters and everything! It's also like the 'easy mode' for your online characters if you play extra mode!
