I would understand if it was a FIFA game, they have a massive following, but I haven't seen much love around for a Madden game. Although I enjoyed playing Madden '94 back in the day.

Oh yeah, there aren't enough good games with sales big enough to knock that one off the list, I guess! Football is just one of those sports that, in my opinion, is actually harder in the games... I can't figure those derned things out! ... Not that I've tried...

Well the main reason why madden made number 4 was because of the madden prediction. People use it for gambling purposes, for the Super Bowl someone just finds out which teams are faceing each other. That's where the latest Madden comes in the latest games have up to date stats they just have the computer play against itself and bet on who wins. And the strange thing is it's almost always right :O (that's according to the players).
