Question about PSO online! - pink - 05-03-2007

*shrugs* The Sonic Team servers are far too insecure anyways. There's people literally using their PSO serial numbers just to host a bot that corrupts anyone's data who logs on. Not just losing your weapons, it fries your entire PSO data. If you ask me, I'd rather not go sign onto a server where the only thing that's going to happen is having all my hard-work fried in a couple of seconds.

O.o...

Hell, in that case I'll stay away willingly.

Sonic Team's done all of two things for PSOGC... they corrected the online Ultimate Gibbles EXP glitch, and they've banned bots that have been corrupting people as they log in. They did not fix any of the FSODing and corruption problems that have been happening. A single person who runs a much more illegal server does so much more when it comes to fixing these attacks that it's not even funny. It's pretty sad when one person can do some minor code modifications and accomplish more than an entire major company.

Indeed. All ST ever did was hand out bans. >_>

And there are a lot more malicious hackers on the official servers, I think.

Well... not so much in number... most hackers moved onto PSU... but it only takes one hacker to cause mayhem on the official servers since the place is basically deserted.

Oh, to heck with it all. I wanted to see the servers go down in their final moments, a maybe I'll get to if I find a new memory card or something! But anyway, if SEGA only wants to thank people that maybe even had their accounts up to the final day of February, then they can just go ahead and do that. They'll be disappointing 99% of their former or current customers, but I can enjoy the world of PSO anyway! I'm actually scared to go on those servers, even though I can't anyway. Thanks a lot SEGA, who will hold a farewell party now?!
