Ahem........Heaven punisher is overrated.........sure the special is cool, but u can only use it every 100 beats, yay, it's stats aren't even that good, my red handgun+50 is better and much easier to get, spread needle on the other hand is awsome when fully ground, picture it, the speed of a rifle, only in a shot form, that's amazing, the 9000m is good for long range combat, but it's hard to obtain, the GULD MILLA is also hard to obtain, it doesn't have as much range as the 9000m, but the atp helps when the monsters are right in your face. Guilty Light is a photon launcher type, just like the other ones, photon launcher, red scorpio, Nug-2000 bazooka, or my favourite, gi gues bazooka.

I tried to get the red handgun yesterday by piping adn teh 2 Pal rappies i found gave me nothing so i am still looking. I want all of the red Items. The red handgun is my current target.!!

I just got the frozen shooter from the rare forest monkey and thats definitely one of the best weapons for the ranger I have used. Amazing range from one end of the screen to the other and the special is a 100% freeze rate so you can turn all the enemies into a nice ice cube. I kid you not it can freeze enemies 100% of the time and the recovery of each shot is really fast.
Shame this was not in the list... Spread Needle is also definitely one of the best.

Twin Psycho Guns there awsome and easy to get
The Heaven Punisher isn't very good on the gamecube the specials power is based off MST, so it's pretty much useless on RAcast / Caseal. Its only good for tagging monsters.
On UTL my lvl 125 RAmar only does about 170 damage per hit with his HP, his Twin Psycho Guns can do around 400 per hit
Im sure that the GULD MILLA has the best range of all the mechguns and I don't think the NUG is a proton launcher it doesnt hit mulitple targets with all 3 attacks
