No rares, whats happening? - Anti Hacker - 09-12-2008 Oh by the way, just incase you didn't know, repetedly piping causes the Gamecube to have to constantly 'skip' back and re-read the same section of your disc over and over. This means that if you do it an absurd amount your gamecubes disc reading laser will start to mess up reeeeaaaal nice. Like mine did ;_; No rares, whats happening? - Lilith - 09-12-2008 That's why I don't cheat or bother hexing. Also it just purely takes all the fun out of the game if you go around cheating. At first when Blackfire667 said he was having trouble with rare drops I thought it might of been something to do with his class. (But as I read on I saw it wasn't the case) Because I know the colour class you are given when you create your character has influence, in the items and mesta that are dropped. (Yellowbose = mesta is more like to be dropped. ) Also I heard what your Mag evolves into effects drops as well. I'm not sure if it's true or not but when I have had a Sato that is 120% in sync with my character (legitimately on GC) and my friend he had a Rati. We found we got quite a few rare drops even though we weren't... well forgot what the red class was called. But you get my point. ^^;; No rares, whats happening? - Rena - 09-12-2008 Lilith Wrote:That's why I don't cheat or bother hexing. But it does deplete the enjoyment from the game. I wasn't aware that the ID your character is given defines meseta drops. Though I don't think the Mag has any influence whatsoever. Regarding the drops you found that were Redria, many items can be found on multiple Sector IDs. No rares, whats happening? - Lilith - 09-12-2008 I know piping isn't cheating but from some of his posts he was saying he did use cheats. In the past I have had chance encounters with AL Rappy's, Hilda blues and forgot the names of the rare plant and blob in caves. @_@ All without the use of pipes. But anyway we found that as different ID's you are more likely to get some drops compared to others. Also what class you choose how you dress and name your character influences what ID you get given. ^^ No rares, whats happening? - Rena - 09-12-2008 Well, the finding rate of a rare enemy (Pal Rappy, Hildeblue, etc.) is 1/512. That means you have a one in 512 chance of finding a rare enemy in every normal one you find. Different IDs are more likely to drop different items. I'd recommend using this page for Ultimate drops, and for others, use Google and search heyf00l's PSO drop charts. No rares, whats happening? - K_I_R_E_E_K - 09-12-2008 It depends, on older pso versions only the name affected the output, but in pso bb it's the name and the char that you have. http://www.pso-world.com/secid_BB.php No rares, whats happening? - Lance813 - 10-12-2008 Heh, i pipe. I find it really annoying to NOT pipe. Besides GCs are 30 dollars now. |
