Thanks for the info. That OnlineConsoles place sounds interesting, but I would never be able to meet their fanatical requirements. They want you to have a character that you can use no where else? Like hell am I going into a game without my 0/100/0/100/60 Guld Milla or my 50h Spirit Vulcans or my Combat Armor! That stuff is without a doubt legitimate. I'd just be looking to have an occasional game with some good players too, not go back to consistent playing just to be able to play at all. I get the point of quality over quantity, but if the quantity is zero...

Well, they alowed my char to be included but i believe it was because i never connected to schthack before, so beeing a offliner may have helped.
It's a recomendation, they just want a clean enviroment, if you make your char just to play there then they will surely believe hacks won't apear, if you decide to use your old char then there isn't a problem really.
I don't know the population over there but i can ask a player how are things over there, my guess is that the server is dead.
The same think happened to dreamcast servers, but in this case ppl just moved somewhere else and created a less strict server at dc-talk, i don't know about gc or if anyone has ever picked the software to make a particular server, it's quite odd that altought there are more GC players then DC players, it's the DC players that make the most servers or atleast they try to make servers in wich DC players can join.
Schthack server seems to be a simple way to play online, especially because the suport is quite good for GC players
Mia team server is not free
IZAKAYA has lot's of players, best at schthack may be 25 (altough now the population seems to be less then 15) and IZAKAYA has over 90 at certain times.
