You also played Mir? Wow, legendary! Always wanted to play that, shame it costs to play though. It'd also take me flippin days to download from how big i hear the file is!!

The mir file was huge, and since I can't even get broadband I never thought I would play it, but me mate put it on disc for me. It is an ok game, good gameplay and ok community, but let down by terrible servers. I got really angry and stopped playing recently after dying from lag again, and then losing my character for a few days.
And anyway, the offline of PSO already seemed better.

LAG is always a problem, especially if its a game that requires such a bandwidth that Dial-up users could never support. Also the game did have pretty poo servers! That i do know! I'm surprised the games actually still going today to be honest. Glad you've moved over to PSO anyways! You know you made a good choice, the moment you picked it up!

Lag is always crappy, I dream of getting broadband, not been interuptted by phones, fast speeds....makes me drool.
Aye, the servers for euro mir is done by game network, a tv station meant to be about games but makes its profits from soft porn chat lines, and the staff are crap.
But I think you are right, I know I will lose a huge part of my life to the game. In fact I am going on at 8

Heh, Game Network, I don't know what happened! It did actually used to be not bad, but then it was taken over by tv text in-s and now crappy staff, and more text-in games and chat etc. Shame...
