PSO: Blue Burst Open Beta? - Lee-yoshi - 18-05-2004 Yer thats true, plus SEGA haven't said anything about an outside-of-Japan release either. It could be that they're just waiting until after the games release to see how it sells and goes down in Tokyo-town. Even if it does sell and makes it to a US release, i honestly think the chances of a proper EU release is unlikely, its unfortunate to say. That's just my opinion though, stranger things have happened! Or you would have much difficulty buying it, because GAME decided to be stupid again and license it under their stores only.

I have a level 3 version of my DC/GC HUmar Omar, but am struggling to play for long periods as the keyboard is a bitch. If anyone wants a link to the download or instructions for registering for the open beta, then feel free to contact me. Orphen: Thanks for just dismissing what I put. If you would care to connect to the beta servers you will see the new features and see why none of your fears about hacking will come true, but I doubt you would be willing to prove yourself wrong now would you?
PSO: Blue Burst Open Beta? - Orphen - 25-05-2004 I didnt know it had server-side saving, but I havent looked much in it, but there ARe ways to get around these things, and I am sure that Barubary will find some way to, and publicize it. But anyway, Even if its safe, I am not much interested in computer games, although it does look nice, but the game may not be on the GC, in which case I will leave it alone for now. But I do like the Blue Burst Lobbies. The infamous DC hacker Barubary gave up PSO after the DC version from what I have heard. The hackers around on the current GC versions are mostly helpful, but it is the people who visit their forums that are the ones to worry about. The major PSO Cheating sites refuse to put malicious cheats on and only have codes that are for personal enjoyment. FSOD an be for personal enjoyment But I know what you mean, I am just saying that although sega did come up with quite an impressive plan, the hackers wont die down so easily, and I am sure it wont change unless sega goes to each of their houses and stabs them to death for doing so.

They keep taking the servers down for maintenance to fix things, which is annoying for those playing the beta, but a good thing if they manage to fix most of the things that make cheating easy before they release the full game.
