A New Theory? - Sd28 - 27-05-2004 and basically all the time i get nothing A New Theory? - weasel - 27-05-2004 Ok, like I said earlier, this is a THEORY. I'm not saying this is true, but it changed alot for me. Ive been getting the sam rares all the time, not that I've done this, the rares have changed. My levels have changed as well. I am not asking people to believe this is completely true, but atleast give it a try. A New Theory? - decswxaqz - 27-05-2004 I think the beat theory is true. But that's just me. I think it at least affects rare monster appearances and/or their drops. I think the offline time is calculated by (obviously) the GC's time, and what version you are using. So it knows where (roughly) you live. So for US version, it might add 7 hours to the time on your GC and work out the beat time from that. A New Theory? - weasel - 28-05-2004 I tried it again, with the same results. Has anyone tried this yet? I'm curious to hear your reviews. For some odd reason, when I did it last night, not only did the levels change dramaticly, but the monsters were more frequent(more of em) and it seemed to be harder. A New Theory? - IronMaggot - 28-05-2004 I noticed that my offline beat time is always wrong anyway. My clock is set to the right time (give or take a few minutes) but on my PC I downloaded a beat time clock from swatch ages ago, and the current beat is @679 while pso offline tells me it is @344 A New Theory? - Serpent7 - 29-05-2004 Sd28 Wrote:i hope this theory is correct and actualy works I hope it isn't. What if the best time is something stupid like midnight? A New Theory? - Omar - 29-05-2004 weasel Wrote:I tried it again, with the same results. Has anyone tried this yet? That certianly is not linked to beats. People tried keeping a record of beat/rare enemy appearance rates on PSOW a while back, but nothing conclusive was found. A New Theory? - Hrith - 30-05-2004 Nothing alters drops, the only thing that people kept blathering about was rare monsters appearances, and the administrator of Housoka clearly refuted that theory. A New Theory? - Lionheart - 30-05-2004 so there you have it, kefka answered the question so theres no need for the thread to be opened. *locked* |
