Well that works fine for me and my brothers and the reason i know that it is working is that we almost never find a rare item if we don't do that strategy. So i keep believing that my theory works. I posted it to put it in prove. If someone want to try it and tell if it worked or not, just post here, ok?

Listen, i'm not starting a fight here or trying to deviate from the topic, but i have to ask:
How come u say that nothing alters drops? When u do the pipe trick to find a rare monster u ARE altering drop rates by making a rare monster to appaear more often. Am i right or wrong?

wrong your not altering it your just makeing it respawn so you have another chance of it being a rare version

Exactly. And to answer your question Jimbo. You might want to use a long range weapon instead. At least for when you have hordes of enemies on your ass.

When u get into a room full of enemies, you cast ryuker or a telepipe and then go back to pioneer 2. Then u go back to the room that u were before and the enemies will be respawned, raising the chance of finding a rare enemy...
