Online is extremely fun, and there are hundreds of more things to do online, as well as uses for certain items only being online, also, online only items. The risk of corruption is correct, though. There are ways to avoid it somewhat, though.
A sureproof way to avoid FSOD-X (FSOD that corrupts your memory card, quite rare, but extremely unfortunate) Make your own game. Dont join another, especially in a lagy server such as vega. This doesnt apply for Episode 3 because there is no FSOD-X on EP3, and general FSOD doesnt make you lose anything.
And in the rare occasion that you do FSOD-x, there is some ritual on how to avoid it, I think one of the others on the forum may know it, Kefka probably, I forgot what it was..Ive corrupted 14 times throughout my whole time on PSO, but this was just due to general vega play. A good server to go to is deneb 9, one of the more legit, less laggy servers.
