i used to have birds, one use to whistle well known songs. i had a 2 love birds that didnt really do much but looked good and two budgies, one budgie died after escaping its cage and felw into a door and had a heart attack, one of the love birds died of natrual causes, then my mum bf moved in and asked my mum to get rid of em cos there messy (hes a clean freak)
so she did, she took em to sum bird home where they have loads. :'(

you might want to replace it with a solid plastic wheel instead of one made of bars, they can be quite dangerous to their feet if they slip

my bird! - Lionheart - 26-08-2004

Metal or plastic would be the same level of dangerousness to the bird's feet, besides, if he slips, he'll probably just fly somewhere.
