I use the combo. I know the Yamato and all those are stronger but if you get hit before you finish, there goes your combo. Now, the shield, its really helpful in the caves as it gives some dark resitance against the Ob lilies. The Delsaber's buster isn't the best weapon but don't rule it out.

Ok cool. I didn't actually know the shield provided resistance to dark, so that's very useful. I still want the Buster, I need the extra EVP and ATP. =)
Also, a question about the shield. Why does the shield look as though it is floating just above your character's arm? I've been wondering that for months. tia.

Red Saber and Lavis Cannon are the strongest sabers if I'm not mistaken. Don't say Lavis Cannon is hard to find, because a friend of mine (yes the same) has managed to get a RAmarl to ult in 40 lvls and he started telepiping poulli slimes... after 4 he got one.

I'm not that amazed by sabers, you only attack three times! Double sword weapons are 5 times and are great for combos, also Double Edge, don't be so mean to Gynn rei!

The Buster has crappy ATA, so with a high level Ranger, or with a good Dex mag, it is very much worth it.
