Item Database - Gotien - 04-11-2004
i was saying that the frying pan shouldnt be a katana, it should be a saber or sword
egg blaster hits multiple enemies and is slower than a rifle
holy ray only hits one enemy but is one handed from when my Force uses it(making it a handgun)
ur right on guardianna, i was just making sure
s-rank weapons are rewarded and not specific drops so they are classified together, the name gives it away
oh yea and inferno bazooka doesnt hit more then one enemy so it cant be a shot, i know i have like 13 of them

The databases are generally made, by their animations, so I know these things, don't try to prove me wrong
The Frying Pan has the animation of the katana, and unless you're playing on the DC version of PSO, the katana has a different animation then the saber.
Ever tried using a basic rifle on a male ranger? They hold it up. Although that's not my point, my point is, it's a rifle.
Egg Blaster is the only one I'm NOT sure of, but I beleive I've seen a snapshot of it being held upwards, hence it being a rifle OR Handgun, but definately not shot.
Inferno Bazooka does the animation of the shot, even if it only shoots one bullet: That's why we classify the Spread Needle as a Rifle and not a crappier shot
(I only said that since this isn't a Spread Needle debate XP)

ok, frying pan has changed, i got it on DC and didnt bother to get it again cuz i hated it, my bad
egg blaster may be held up like a rifle but it still it goes through EVERYTHING, which in my book qualifies as a shot, but nevermind me, aniimation on that one is shot
inferno bazooka is like a shot but most all bazookas are, so it is a bazooka through and though
as for holy ray, that is a hand gun, my force uses it and he doesnt hold it like a ranger holds a rifle he holds holds hit out in front of him not up against his shoulder, that one is mine

Someone else can pick up on the Egg Blaster one, since I don't have it.
Inferno Bazooka has the animation of the shot, the ones that are classified as Bazooka's are held on top of their shoulder (The ones that I would classify as Photon Launcher, but as I said, I'm not classifying them).

Actually, you can only tell if it's a Rifle by how they shoot: So try it out, get a basic handgun, basic Rifle, and a Holy Ray. You'll see Holy Ray IS a Rifle.

okay okay i concede on that one, but the bazooka is a bazooka, guilty light and red scorpio(not on the list probably cuz they are launcher and they didnt wanna add another class in the lists) are launcher however NUG Bazooka is held the same way im almost positive, besides it has Bazooka in the title, just gimme that one so i can go to sleep:'( lol
EDIT: ok you got me on the bazooka, i just checked, so im basing its classification purely on the fact that is has "bazooka" in the title, that alone should count for something(despite all the rods called canes and such) it'll be the one exception

Okay:
Red sword and red saber are still missing
S-rank twin is still called s-rank swords
Red scorpio and guilty light are still missing
Inferno bazooka needs to be bazooka type
Db's sword(AUW 3064) Has no class on the main list
Egg blaster should be shot type
Holy ray should be a handgun
And all of the units mentioned are still missing
I think thats all from Gotiens list.
