Sprit on mechguns, i got to try that; thanks HUchamp. I currently use S-rank handgun (zalure) and sword (none yet, need PDs). And just to say, Zalure, berserk, sprit are some of the best specials for S-rank weapons in my opinion. Also, I'm going a bit offtopic with this but, get your hands on S-red blades, they are extremly helpful for Humars, Hucasts, and Hucaseals who can't cast shifta and deband. The blades will prove priceless offline or when you're without a force.
And remember, Zalure will lower defense as much as a force could (i know it's between level 25-30). Berserk and Spirt cut your current HP/TP my 1/4.
Edit: is Zalure a good idea on S-rank slicer/J-cutter? My S-rank J-cutter has berserk on it right now, should i stay with it?

o-my hell yes.. Zalure Slicers are a god sent for Hunters.. throw a couple of those bad boyz and go shop away with s-rank sword.. and the Zlaure bonus is greater than that of a Force by the way ^^ so is the Shifta, Deband, adn Jellen :O

S-Rank Partisan is the most powerful partisan in the game, might be an option if you like partisans.
I'd go with Twin, I think, or maybe Slicer, but mechs with no hit%, not for me =/

without Shifta, not at all, but I'm not sure with shifta. But if you make the special Berserk or spirt on the twin, it can make a big difference, if your willing to sacrfice your HP/TP up to 1/24th of it's current amount. If you do you better have a lot of Fluids and mates on you.

I also have S-Rank Gun with Zalure, it's very useful on HUcast, heh
I picked it because I already have Sword, Partisan, Shot, Slicer, Twin (x2), Mechgun (x2) and Saber, lol

S-rank Mechguns w/ a Zalure bonus and S-Rank Sword w/ a Shifta Bonus is a match made in Heavan.. that like a Hucast doing damage like a Fo is playing w/ him O_O

Zalure on mechs is incredily useless, and there is no Shifta special for S-Ranks, just Jellen and Zalure.

1. choose claw. I don't have any srank weapons, but claws are really good.
