It's a tragic thing that happened. We donated 1000 NOK which is about 165$

That's good. I think that they would need donations like those. I am still really upset...70,000 Fatalities. I have alot of japanese friends that I am really close to, I am worried it might be one of them, too.

I just really hope that the money we were able to send was enough. We would have sent more, but money tends to be a little tight after christmas shopping. We will be sending more soon, though.

WOW......I've been checking out some of the figures of the tsunami and how it was started.
The earthquake that started the tsunami rated in at an amazing 9 on the ricter.........thats a extremely enormous earthquake. The power of the Tsunami was estimated in at about 5 metatonnes of TNT. Which is close to 2 times the destructive power of World War II. The Tsunami was considered to be only used about 1/4 of the actual force of the Earthquake.
Its just amazing the destructive capabilities of nature.
