Maiden/Metallica = old skool metal
LP = Nu/rap-metal

yeah, erm, sorry if i sounded like i was havin a go there guys, was a bit pissed off at the time of postage!

anyway, fyi, Linkin Park have just released a new album, "Collision Course" its a collaboration with rapper Jay-Z. now before u go sayin "aww man, i aint into none o that rap shit!" its actually a really good album. Its only six tracks long, but when u think about 6 months of work went into it, its worth every penny/cent whatever currency u use.

I highly reccommend all of linkin park's material as most of it is made up of some really deep shit.
Where emo and a lot of punk sing about how they want their gf's back or they really want to go out with a girl, LP sing from the angry "u finished my so sod off" kind of view. a lot of LP shit has got me thru some tuff times, theres been plenty of occaisions where ive sat there fumin, and Linkin Park has been like a way of venting it.
