MSN Messenger v. Beta - Double Edge - 03-03-2005

haha I didn't actually know you could get the handwriting at all for versions below 7.0. That's cool though, wish I knew that before.

MSN Messenger v. Beta - Zer0 - 03-03-2005

what does 7.0 have that 6.2 dont have?

MSN Messenger v. Beta - Double Edge - 03-03-2005

As we've been saying, Zer0, 7.0 has things like:

-Winks
-Nudging
-New look
-Contact Cards
-Handwriting

MSN Messenger v. Beta - Shadamoo - 03-03-2005

Mirinee Wrote:I'm using 6.2 as well. Seems like the only all-new thing in 7 is "winks".

Version 6.x doesn't originally support handwriting, but there is a handwriting patch, which you can download from http://www.mess.be. Then anyone with version 6 and above will be able to receive your handwritten messages. I love it.
So, I download that, and I get handwriting?
I have 7.0 beta, so I was wondering if it already has it installed.

MSN Messenger v. Beta - Double Edge - 03-03-2005

Yes, Shadamoo, 7.0 comes with the Handwriting feature already installed. To get to it, follow the directory:

Open MSN Messenger > Open a Chat Room/IM Room > Click on Handwrite in the Type box down by the Type one > Enter message.

MSN Messenger v. Beta - Mirinee - 03-03-2005

When a 7.0 user sends a handwritten message, will a user of 6.x be able to receive it?

Yes, Mirinee. However, for things like Winks and Nudging, anyone that will be 'receiving' them must have v. 7.0

MSN Messenger v. Beta - Devils darkness - 12-07-2005

MSN Messenger v. Beta - Serpent7 - 12-07-2005

Please don't bring up old topics without something VERY relevant to say about it. Also, the Beta finished a long time ago, it's now an "Alpha", you might say.
