everywhere except the JP ships. Come on, it's obvious, you dont just get an FSOD for no reason. I mean Black name in lobby, lobby invisibility, you can see other peoples equipment when on p2 or in lobby, that stuff is fine it affects no one. but when it comes to FSOD, and corruption, it sucks.

I cant say ive ever seen black names, weapons n equipment in lobbies or Pioneer 2, or anything like that! Of course everyone gets FSOD, and its no biggy unless you're on dial-up and its taken you half an hour to dial-up and play online in the first place -_-
Hang around in the right places then or play at non-peak times to get in with a nice game or two ^^

Yes, the last time I was on, hacking was a real threat. I'm looking to meet some cool ppl and just keep a low profile. Any good tips for avoiding nasty corruption via hackers? Also, this forum seems like a good place to meet the sort I would consider PSO buds

Well I generally try to, but theres still people who hack profusely. Look at Cmode ranks next time your on, Im pretty sure PSO GOD isnt one of them.

Hey...can I just ask? How come some people have different colour names (gold?), and what *is* FSOD? Some people were talking about it in a US lobby. Is this FSOD business just when it crashes? It happened to me the first time I entered a lobby. My screen just froze, so I had to switch my Gamecube off. When I went to 'select character' it said all equipped items would be lost, so I was really worried, but I hadn't lost them...
What do you think people should look for to identify who is a hacker and who isn't? Maybe people could just run to a different lobby or something then.
