Yeah, it did that right at the start of the 'Final' story for me, that's why I got the GC version.

And no, I don't believe the locations change from DC to GC, but I hav't checked either...

well you find this upgrade called the mystic melody in sand ocean and you go up to that fountain that he says is a ruin press Y until it says mystic melody and a bouncer appeares and then jump on that and you grab onto something and go up. Do that for a while and then you'll get to the chao at the top. Wink

to get eggman's melody go 2 the sand lvl then go to the first spinning thing or its the 2nd look 2 your left and if u see somthing jump to it and huver over there will be the melody. Tongue

I don't remember the Mystic Melody (for Sonic?) being hard to get. I do remember falling into Earth's Atmosphere 100 times too many in the Final Rush Wink.
