What do you think about Tsukimiri J Sealed Sword? - Scott Bull - 21-04-2005 I'll still never believe it's legit, basically because so many of them are hacked, and then there are a billion different rumours to how to unlock it, it's just another way for hackers to get a false sense of superiority. And it is true, the videos are faked, a bud of mine who has a Post Graduate in Visual Technology pointed out like half a dozen errors in it where it had been doctored. And it is true what Anti said, Sega do update the Sega file, that's what it's for, this also applies to people who are in love with their precious drop charts, Sega have done it with PSO3 card ratios, so why do they deny that they HAVE done it with PSO1/2 ratios too, I've proven those drop rates wrong on multiple occasions. It also how they allegedly patched up some of the FSOD temporarily. Lastly, 23k monstors is a bit easy isn't it, I've done that on MA1 and MA2 about 10 times over, not exactly much of a challenge, especially if you do it on normal, (there's no rule saying you have to do it on ultimate). What do you think about Tsukimiri J Sealed Sword? - Hrith - 21-04-2005 Listen, dude, I really suggest you calm down, and quit those accusations right away. Those videos were made by a friend of mine, and I'm hosting them, they are 100% undoctored, so your friend obviously doesn't know a clue about video editing, the only thing that was changed is the lighting, because it was a bit dark, originally. You will be able to play them with the DivX codec, just download a player like VLC or MPC. To unseal the Sealed J-Sword, you need to kill 23000 monsters with it, that is not a theory, it's a fact, and since we learned that, five totally legit people have been able to unseal theirs, and I'm on my way to unseal mine. Of course, that won't change the fact that 99% of the TJS you will see are dupes, but there are some legit TJS out there, at least five. Yes, you can do it on Normal, and all people I know, including myself, do it on Normal, but 23000 is a lot more than you imagine. You have done MA1&2 several times, sure, but did YOU get the finishing blow on all monsters ? Don't think so. 23000 monsters is really a lot, also, don't forget the fact that the SJS is one of the 10 rarest items in the game. So, finding one of the 10 rarest items in the game + killing 23000 monsters with it (without any clue from ST telling you how to unseal it) = big, BIG challenge. The biggest part of the challenge was probably to find out the way to unseal it. Now that we discovered it and are saying it to you, it ruins a big part of the challenge, it's like a playing a game with a FAQ, makes it a lot easier. But if you had spent over a year hunting SJS, then over another year figuring out how to unseal it, because no one told you how to, you wouldn't consider that an "easy challenge". So unless you have done this, I suggest you keep it quiet... and clean. What do you think about Tsukimiri J Sealed Sword? - SilentBob - 21-04-2005 Kefka: Iv had my SJS for a long time now. Or is that only active when you equip it and resets if you un-equip it? To be honest i dont really know. Kefka, is it true what Scott said about the SEGA file being updated? You didn't really cover that in your last rant... heh.
What do you think about Tsukimiri J Sealed Sword? - Hrith - 21-04-2005 Did you find your own SJS ? because hacked SJS cannot unseal. And yeah, you can bank it, drop it, etc. But remember to always save (bank it and exit the bank with the Sword in it), before dropping it or lending it to a friend, if you play online. About ST updating the game data server-side, not they can't. All they can update are the online quests, and release of items. What do you think about Tsukimiri J Sealed Sword? - flickynick - 21-04-2005 I just watched those videos So if you obtained a duped SJS, would you not be able to unseal it? (Be a good thing if you couldnt) What do you think about Tsukimiri J Sealed Sword? - Hrith - 21-04-2005 If someone dupes a SJS, it will remain "unsealable" but the counter will drop to 0. What do you think about Tsukimiri J Sealed Sword? - Anti Hacker - 21-04-2005 Although having said that Kefka, un-legit SJS can be unsealed as long as they are a dupe of a legit SJS and not of the hacked version which was not correctly brought across by the hacker. Oh yeah, and thanks for the ST update information
What do you think about Tsukimiri J Sealed Sword? - SangeYasha - 22-04-2005 I can't see the videos =( Where I can download the program, that enable my PC to see the videos? What do you think about Tsukimiri J Sealed Sword? - Hrith - 22-04-2005 I'm not sure it's safe to give a link to such a site. What I suggest is that you go to Google, then search for "VLC+download". VLC is the name of the player, it reads everything without a codec, very handy. |
