I'd say either a HUmar or a HUnewearl just because I don't like forces(they are good though) and I think the HUcaseal is the most retarded looking character in the game.

HUmar is awful for solo play and even worse for multi. You have a RAmarl, she plays close to the HUne with the obvious differences aside, jack up ATP, lower the MST and ATA a bit, and jack up the EVP and you have the HUnewearl. If you have a Skyly hunt her some (2-3) God/Arms in V-Hard Mines. And go with a Redria HUnewearl.

Whatever you do, don't create another Ranger though. Simply because you already have the best Ranger in existence, the RAmarl, as well as a RAcast which isn't too bad.

forces are always good but they also can die a bit more on offline single plyr. I always like all, but id also choose a force cuz their fun =) and a challenge

So by what I've read, I've began to narrow it down to either FOmar or HUnewearl. With that said what mag stat would you contribute for them. I thought if I go the HU route, maybe 5/125/70/0. As for the FO, perhaps maybe 5/70/50/75...I'm not so sure though. I'm not so good at optimizing mags so what do you guys/gals suggest. Any thoughts Kefka?

HUnl mag is good, change it at Lv 150, so it's really good for now.
FOmar, it depends what you're gonna do with him...
-melee: 5/145/50/0 works best, at least until Lv 170+
-tech casting: 15/0/0/185, why not?
Also, you can do both mags, it won't hurt; but over 50 DEX on a FOmar mag is a waste, FOmar has lowest ATA in game, and it's extremely easy to max.

With the Fomar, start with a high POW mag, then make a mostly POW, some MIND, then make it so that POW and MIND are equal, or near it. You need the ATP really early on, but later, you can use more for MST. DEX should always be around 50, and DEF at 5.

I don't like any of the male human characters. They are jack of all trades, they can't do anything well and the added bonuses they get for being human are pretty crappy really. If you want to melee, be a hunter, not a fomar, use a Cast. If you want a good resta, be a ramarl or hunewearl. If you want good force attacks, the newmans are right there.
