i recently just heard that live8 was only raising money for awareness :S .and that there not giving the money to the poverty sticken people in africa. is this true?

Didn't sign the petition because I am against the concept of it. I believe poverty should be ended but the propositions on the page are not the way to end it. I won't make this into some political battle, just wanted show my stance on this. Good job to the rest of you for showing your support for those in need of aid ^_^.
