pinkal is nearly good for forces, but is easily outpaced by other id's for absloutely everything. also, if you're a human you can use 250 mats, and thats it, so at lvl 200 if you've used 200 mind mats and 50 pow's, then your evade, luck, def and power won't be maxed, but mind will be at its top, wasting loads of mats as you porbably could've maxed mind with 100 mind mats meaning you couldve maxed other stats. get whiteninja's max stat guide, make a mag like it says but give it more dex and less pow+mind if there is so you dont miss as much, then when you're a higher level you can make the proper mag (if you've followed the mats usage) and have most of your stats as high as they can possibly go.

I've never had any problems with kefka in that matter. I just don't ask questions though, most of them are answers by the trust search button at the top of the forums.

because ep.1&2 was released long ago and those would be very low

pinka;l is rubbish for all chars apart from forces (you'll now look at my sig.. shut up...) and trust em, you can screw up on mats so bad, I did(ish) Jarlly recovered(ish), and by the time whiteninja did start to help, it was too late.. the ways to screw up your mats (mainly the way i did with Jess...)
1. don't use enough luck mats.
2. use too many mind mats.
3. don't use enough mats on the things you shuld use lots off
4. use too many mats on the things that don't matter so much.

Yeah, but Newmen-Forces shouldn't use any luck materials, and they can never have too many mind materials (well eventually, but they take alot).
I think your talking about Virdia, denryu. That's a pretty good Hunter ID, but Skyly is the main one for Hunters. At this point, it might be worth it to start up a new character, hand off your current items to it, and then continue on with a Skyly instead. Your choice though. (the ID color is chosen by your name, in case you didn't know; so if you have a name you really like, try different variations, or adding a space to the end of it to get Skyly)
Edit: jarl, that's not neccessarily true. If you don't use too many of the materials, you can go to PSOW and check your character's stats against some charts they have there at every 5th level. That's the most helpful thing they have there... the only one I ever actually use anymore. Every 5th level, I check to make sure I didn't mess up. I've only made one mistake: 1 extra power material on Samus.
