Riddles - Judgment - 21-12-2005 Ill go with my dads diy tables on that one. It starts with 4 legs then it breaks and only has 2 then he tries to fix it and it ends up with only 3 ^-^ Riddles - Faulkie - 21-12-2005 A person. Baby crawls on 4 'legs', an adult walks on 2, and an old person uses a cane to walk (thus 3 'legs'). Oh yeah baby, 3 in a row.
Riddles - Yami Kami - 22-12-2005 SR-Faulkie, you are the man. Interesting fact: The "greater than God" one Was given to lots of collage students and preeschoolers. The pre people got it right 95% of the time, while the Harvards got more like 10%. lol Riddles - Faulkie - 22-12-2005 Thanks Yami Kami! And that is very strange, I wonder how the pre-schoolers understood it...
Riddles - Judgment - 22-12-2005 So that means Judgment > Harvard or Judgment = preschooler Riddles - jarl - 22-12-2005 Judgment Wrote:Judgment = preschooler i think
Riddles - Yami Kami - 22-12-2005 Hee hee. Ooh, burn. The 4, 3, and 2 legs one was actually asked by a sphinx to a hero in an old greek story. It went something like, um, "What walks on 4 legs in the morning, 2 legs in the afternoon, and 3 legs in the evening?" I didn't get the 3 legs for awhile, but then I realized the guy was using a cane. :$ Riddles - jarl - 22-12-2005 yeah, but the morning afternoon evening thing is really harsh
Riddles - Yami Kami - 22-12-2005 True, true. Back then the whole "analogies for life" thing was probably pretty hot. Still is today, for some people. Plus, the sphinx just wanted the guy to screw up so she could eat him. Ha ha ha... Riddles - MarioVet - 23-12-2005 The pre schoolers probably told it in a way they can actually comprehend, or their brains must work differently. my riddle: what travels faster than light, you cant see it, and it has no shape or form. i think my riddle is good . and i made it up just now... i was thinking of just stealing one off google D:
