but the platain leaf is common on the ids that can find it
the chao is rare but i found one
then the striker of chao is not really rare, so rarity has nothing to do with banned items (i think)

If I remember rightly, back in the day (I'm talking Version 1, when all the Game Shark codes took off) the Sonic Knuckles became banned, I cant remember why, as it wasn't that great a weapon, more a novelty.
