Believe in long-distance relationships? - Mirinee - 19-10-2006 Aw, thanks for the feedback, five 'yes' votes is encouraging. I see I'm not the only one to be on a long-distance relationship. I hope 'absence makes the heart grow fonder' is true, but there are moments when I, and I hate to admit, feel like I'm going about my normal life just to fill up time until I can see him again; only in being in love can one be having such unhealthy thoughts :S. For someone it wont, but for others it can work. If you don't ever keep in contact then it won't work out. Then there's the element of human touch. It's much easier to stay with someone if you can see/smell/taste/touch/hear them. What could possibly be better than a love with no limits, that can stretch any distance? It's a different kind of love in some ways, but beautiful no matter what. I'm just going to pull myself together, since it is foolish to suffer from "lovesickness". Keeping in touch is no problem, since this is the 21st century after all, and I can keep in touch with him every single day. I'm also a very optimistic person, and now I no longer doubt.
