Storyline links between PSU, PSO and PS? - Mirinee - 24-10-2006 I'm fine with Rappies/Tech names/Grass Assassins because they're all very much the same thing with a slight variation, but as far as the planets go, I bet they are completely different. Parma was destroyed all the way back in PSII by the Earthmen. I almost sure that SEED from PS IV isn't the same one as the one in PSO/PSU, which may very well be the same one . The SEED from PSIV was a computer which self-destructed itself. I know a little PS history, KIREEK I played PSIV again very recently too, so it's all fresh in my mind :S. I just haven't played PSIII.Moonwraith Wrote:Spoiler: The final boss offline is 'Dulk Fakis', who apart from having a similar name and being some kind of evil beasty has little to do with Dark Falz/Force or the Profound Darkness. I always thought that the Dark Falz in PSO EpI was the same Dark Falz in all the PS games, though. It's supposed to be respawning every millenium. Are you sure that this 'evil beasty' is different? Storyline links between PSU, PSO and PS? - Darkwolf30 - 24-10-2006 Well Rag Rappies are in all them. Storyline links between PSU, PSO and PS? - Mirinee - 24-10-2006 No, Darkwolf30. Rag Rappies are not in PS I or PS II. Storyline links between PSU, PSO and PS? - Darkwolf30 - 24-10-2006 Oh, I thought they were in all of them. I was going to try to make some connection between Rag Rappies and the PS's. There are obvious similarities, and a clear link in terms of referencing, but no storyline connection. Dulk Fakis is actually a horribly mutated Renvolt Magashi after he falls into the SEED HIVE core. The Japanese for this boss was ダルク・ファキス if I remember correctly, anyway. 'Dark Falz' was ダークファルス. They ARE different. Storyline links between PSU, PSO and PS? - Darkwolf30 - 24-10-2006 So in a way PSU has some connection to the other PS's because of the SEED. Storyline links between PSU, PSO and PS? - K_I_R_E_E_K - 24-10-2006 maybe....... they probably used things from ps4 so ps4, pso/ and psu have a relation, similar to a history Storyline links between PSU, PSO and PS? - Teh EkwEE - 24-10-2006 Mirinee Wrote:I'm fine with Rappies/Tech names/Grass Assassins because they're all very much the same thing with a slight variation, but as far as the planets go, I bet they are completely different. Stick with 2 and 4, those are probably the best in the series....Plus you get Nei in PS2 (The First Newman) for which PSO's wepon "Nei's Claw" is named after. Also, the planet names are not exactly coincedence. Sonic Team named them that as a throwback to the original's. Not because there are any connections between them. Storyline links between PSU, PSO and PS? - Darkwolf30 - 24-10-2006 So there is in a way a couple of connections but not major connections. Storyline links between PSU, PSO and PS? - K_I_R_E_E_K - 24-10-2006 maybe sega want's this we all are doing, discussing previewed phantasy star's right? |
