Yeah, Hopefully their customer support will get better. To cancel my BB account it took forever. My dad had to call them 4 or 5 times because the interent link to cancel it wasn't working at the time.

I had that problem while trying to renew my PSO GC license... only to cancel it again a month later (stupid hackers...)

Yep PSO GC was filled with hackers, Main reason i only tried it online for one month. I rather play it offline with friends. That's all i really used PSO GC for. (I like my computer alot better Tongue)

Well the "other means" of playing online works better preventing corruption wise... but that lag is intense. XD

I've never felt lag on PSO. i always wondered what it was like. lol I actully do.

The most notable effect of lag is a delay of whatever message you put into the keyboard appearing on screen. On active nights it usually takes around 3 seconds for my message to appear after hitting enter... but that's almost entirely from the university network.

Yeah, It could be because alot of people are on the net in your university causing it to lag a bit.

Let's get back on topic please.

I created an American (US) account to allow me to access the area in which US players can now purchase online subscriptions for phantasy star universe!

I have discovered that since the accound is created as a "US" account, it automatically places "US" at the end of your address. This means that only American credit/debit cards cane be used.

I can confirm that a UK card will not be able to authorise the purchase of a Guardians Licence on a US account.

As UK accounts do not have the option to purchase a subscription yet, I am guessing we will not be able to play the game online until the 24th of November. So get your game on and complete story mode I guess...

However, remember there should be a free 30 day trial? There's nothing saying that won't be functional.

I am thinking maybe you can use up your free trial before the subscription purchasing system for UK players even comes online.

But isn't an account rquired to play the Story Mode and Extra Mode?... Legitimately that is to say...

I'm not sure, I don't see why it would be. Remeber PSO:1&2, how only online elements require a subscription? I am pretty sure you can play story mode with no account.

Also as I have already pointed out, just use a UK account and use up your 30 day free trial before you buy a Guardians Lisence.

Edit: My logic was pretty much, as long as you have an active account you dont need to purchase a Guardians Licence for 30 days since any account entitles you to 30 days free play.

People might say "They wouldn't do that - because that means people could just create new accounts to get more free play" - Well you can, but since your character(s) are bonded to your account you would lose them. This is the sanction, and why I believe the free trial will still stand alongside an account with no subscription.
