Cute and cuddly guys cute and cuddly - Anti Hacker - 13-05-2007 Wow I really don't believe that at all. Just because you have another point of view that doesn't mean you're right, or even able to make someone happy. Sometimes people see what you see and then still disagree for a legitimate reason. At the end of the day, only you are in charge of your mood! Unless you think you're so frail that others can make you feel a certain way. Influence, yes. Make; - NO. I also don't believe in diagnosed depression. So many of my friends have been screwed up by doctors trying to sell them pretty pills. When really: they just needed to get their emo asses into gear! Self pitty is not a disease, it's a low form of indulgance. Doctors are stupid... Gawd... I don't agree with people who say they have things so bad and "omgz I wants to die" when really they have things 10 times better than the majority of the earths entire population. Of humans! But by the same token, you can't just "make" someone happy if they are determined to be miserable. Yeah, you can try to cheer them up, and it may well work. Great! But you cannot "make" or force someone to be happy. The very idea is just entirely ridiculous and flawed to a massive extent! Cute and cuddly guys cute and cuddly - nomercy - 13-05-2007 Well put it this way then. You can't see what you're doing to them, but they do. They can show you the pain you're inflicting on them, and if you love them... You'll do something to fix it. I got experience in this. Cute and cuddly guys cute and cuddly - Anti Hacker - 13-05-2007 You can't inflict emotional damage one anyone younger than 7. I have a younger sister, I KNOW these things Anyone who claims otherwise needs to get over themselves and grow up!
Cute and cuddly guys cute and cuddly - nomercy - 13-05-2007 I'm not talking about little kids. Cute and cuddly guys cute and cuddly - Anti Hacker - 13-05-2007 Well then it's not possible to inflict emotional damage upon someone else, that can only happen if they let it. Unless you went completely psycho and like, killed one of their family members or something. But in which case, I think your biggest problem would be your own sanity! Cute and cuddly guys cute and cuddly - nomercy - 13-05-2007 I don't mean that either. What I mean is your actions have an effect on other people, if you have a problem and hide it, eventually it will come out and hurt the people you love the most. Cute and cuddly guys cute and cuddly - Anti Hacker - 13-05-2007 Anything you do will only hurt someone if it is either extreme of if they let it hurt them. Your actions can influence the mood of a person but not entirely shift it in either direction. Unless they let you shift it. Cute and cuddly guys cute and cuddly - nomercy - 13-05-2007 So everyone should just become uncaring enough to not let the actions of someone they love, be they for better or worse, affect them? If you hide a problem and it comes out, it'll hurt people that were trying to find out what was wrong because tey wanted to help you through it. If you push them away they feel like you don't want their help, nor need it, you can do it all alone. You can't... Cute and cuddly guys cute and cuddly - Anti Hacker - 13-05-2007 You dont have to be uncaring to stop actions of others from affecting you. Like, in the heat of a moment someone you love might say something mean. But if you REALLY believe they love you, you'll know they didn't mean it and it won't affect you. But what if it isn't someone you love? What if it's a maniac - or a jackass? Cute and cuddly guys cute and cuddly - nomercy - 13-05-2007 No matter the metal, the blade still cuts. Regardless of what you believe, a remark can hurt you, just as the person you love hiding something important from you because they feel it's neccessary to shelter you from it. |
