Official Topic: Phantasy Star Universe! Brand New Game! - Scott Bull - 26-01-2005 Is it just me or do PB do naff all unless you string like 3 of them together and donate. Also, the one that casts S/D is useless, as most chars can cast that anyhow. Official Topic: Phantasy Star Universe! Brand New Game! - Anti Hacker - 26-01-2005 Hmm, not so, thats my favourite PB! If you combine 4 of them from high lvl mags, youre characters can become almost as powerful as a PB themself! heh. The resta one is the naff one, unless you play as an android, then it may have some use... Official Topic: Phantasy Star Universe! Brand New Game! - Scott Bull - 26-01-2005 But for the fact if you got a Hunter and a Force above level 100 you'd be sorted anyhow, also, since I'm a Fonewearl, my TP count at level 135 is phenomenal, alsso, it heals at about 3TP per second. Official Topic: Phantasy Star Universe! Brand New Game! - Anti Hacker - 27-01-2005 Well theyre pretty rubbish PB for forces, cos they dont need shifta themselves, but what if youre playing with an android char who cant cast techs? Some of the most useul PBs around. But i agree, more aggressive ones are needed, perhaps one that can poinson everything in the room as well as giving it the tempory shock-alysis? Something not unsimilar to Doomtrain in FF8 or Hades in FF7. Official Topic: Phantasy Star Universe! Brand New Game! - Scott Bull - 27-01-2005 I think that you should be able to choose and upgrade your PB's, such as when you learn a 5th move in a Pokemon games you have to sacrifice a move for it. Official Topic: Phantasy Star Universe! Brand New Game! - Anti Hacker - 29-01-2005 Great idea, that would be awsome. I think there should be more p2/lobby visual upgrades, e.g. you can still se equipped items and weapons (and mags). Mags should be nameable to, lol. I think they should also put in a warning to other players when someone disconnects saying "x has disconnected" so people dont think youre quitting on them or being a jerk. Its not just the gameplay that needs tweaking. also i dont think multiplayer and singleplayer difficulty modes should be split anymore, it should simply be when you beat the boss of a prev difficulty mode you should be able to play on the new difficulty mode online as well as offline. Characters shouldnt have to walk for that period of time before they can run either. Maybe jump and strafe commands? I know its a little complex for an rpg, but it can be done. Its almost funny that you can say "I beat ultimate dark falz but i just cant bring myself to jump over this wall". maybe the mag level should show in the lobby as well as the player level (if equipped) ? there should be a wider variety of custom npc's (not based on a character class, e.g. elly or the principal). I'M sure ST can manage a more in - depth combat system, and they can make better visuals to. More enemies, with more rares to be dropped. OK, it may be a little to much to hope for, especially of ST...
Official Topic: Phantasy Star Universe! Brand New Game! - Scott Bull - 29-01-2005 Sega doing anything is asking a bit much. More animations would be cool too, such as being able to play mini-games in the lobby. Official Topic: Phantasy Star Universe! Brand New Game! - Anti Hacker - 31-01-2005 Go-Go ball was less than... i expected, heh Official Topic: Phantasy Star Universe! Brand New Game! - Scott Bull - 01-02-2005 But always good for a laugh, I have a Go-Go Ball Ladder Ranking System running on my forum-board. Official Topic: Phantasy Star Universe! Brand New Game! - Anti Hacker - 01-02-2005 cool, they should make something a bit more complex though. Im not talking blitzball or anything, but they could do a bit more. |
