who plays dreamcast, who doesn't - Beat X500 - 18-01-2004 So link? do you go onto the DC servers often or do u mainly use ur GC? if ur goin online one time maybe we could meet up, my chars. name was GAMESMASTER who plays dreamcast, who doesn't - Link777 - 20-01-2004 I cant get on either,as i have the same prblem as Decs, But I have a solution:Buy another dreamcast and another Pso. But what if the DC is already registered? Have to think of a new plan... And I cannot get onto the GC servers either as I dont have a cred card. who plays dreamcast, who doesn't - Beat X500 - 20-01-2004 Your original PSo game saves are registered to ur DC so you wont be able to use another one. And if you buy a new PSO disc u wont be able to use your saves as they will be regitered to your old DC who plays dreamcast, who doesn't - decswxaqz - 20-01-2004 You can actually get rid of the PSO data stored in the memory on the DC. I figured it out when I took my Dreamcast apart ^_^;. I was getting a new one, so I decided to open it up. There are some jumpers you can remove and clear the memory. But if you've gone online, it's too late as the server registered the DC .
who plays dreamcast, who doesn't - Beat X500 - 20-01-2004 cool, u took ur DC apart? what was it like? i once read an article in a magazine bout people who modifeied xboxes, they were so cool. who plays dreamcast, who doesn't - decswxaqz - 21-01-2004 hehehe. Very cool. Everything was in a layered motherboard. Things were offest and multiple layers of chip boards all of the place... But what the cool thing was, is that I took my new oone apart too. And it had a different layout. I guess they updated the design and made everything a bit smaller. I higly recommend taking a console apart if it doesn't work anymore
who plays dreamcast, who doesn't - Beat X500 - 21-01-2004 Good idea decs, i will try that with my DC when i get the chance who plays dreamcast, who doesn't - Ton - 22-01-2004 But something like, wat is this thi *snap*, OH CRAP! might happen. I wouldn't want to risk that. Besides, dc's r old now, and none owned ones r rare. who plays dreamcast, who doesn't - Beat X500 - 22-01-2004 But if the DC's already broke then it doesnt matter about taking it apart who plays dreamcast, who doesn't - Ton - 23-01-2004 oh. wat if u could have fixed it....nvm |
