Information on AoI - nomercy - 06-12-2007 It lags on PS2 as well. Information on AoI - REIA - 06-12-2007 Becuz PS2 hardware is not prepared to their crappy programming with NTSC monitors + Japanese origined games. Information on AoI - nomercy - 06-12-2007 We use PAL, and the reason is simply because Sonic Team are too lazy to fix problems that I could probably fix up in a couple of minutes if I had the equipment. The ONLY reason a game should lag when it's not used on a network is when the programmers make a mistake. Information on AoI - REIA - 06-12-2007 Ah! That! Yes actually if you saw Xbox360 videos you'll see the framerate or game speed is slower, but shows no sings of lag, there is a japanese player that said that if you dont want lag in game you got to glitch it! Making it unable to reproduce than a certain game speed, a youtube video showing the effects he did is around. Can't remember his username of youtube.jp . And yeah, that sucks so bad! Also I can get used to this lag, but never to SLOW RUNNING SPEED or ATTACKING. that's why I prefer still playing with lag than glitching my software
Information on AoI - nomercy - 06-12-2007 Again though, that's not much use for a PS2-user. Though the game itself is the same (PSU on the 360 is simply a ported version of the PC/PS2 version) the actual mechanics of the console differ greatly, so to produce the same effect, you would be required to do a few drastically different things to fix it. Though, I am interested in how he did it; I might be able to figure out a way of doing it for the PS2 version, regardless. Information on AoI - REIA - 06-12-2007 In my case, I would stay away :p I dont like to glitch stuff Information on AoI - nomercy - 06-12-2007 I enjoy playing with codes in games and such. I like to find ways to exploit problems, and then attempt to fix them. Sometimes it goes terribly wrong though...(I once managed to cause enemies in Halo 2 fire continually rapid-fire no matter the weapon) >_>; |
